On May 27, 2024, North West Community Council approved the application to enter into a development agreement to allow an apartment building at 1562 Sackville Drive, Middle Sackville.

Application by WM Fares Architects requesting to enter into a development agreement to allow an apartment building at 1562 Sackville Drive, Middle Sackville.
Proposal
The applicant wishes to construct an apartment dwelling at the site. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
- Six (6) storey multi-unit residential building;
- 98 dwelling units, of which 40 are to be 2-bedroom units;
- Approx. 128 parking spaces; and
- Indoor and outdoor amenity space for the residents of the buildings.
The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to the design and scale of the proposed building, traffic impacts, parking locations, driveway access, and landscaping.
Process
The application will be considered under the Development Agreement process.

TAKE NOTICE THAT North West Community Council did, on Monday, May 27, 2024, approve the following:
PLANAPP-2023-00382 - Application by WM Fares Architects requesting to enter into a development agreement to allow an apartment building at 1562 Sackville Drive, Middle Sackville.
Any aggrieved person, the Provincial Director of Planning, or the Council of any adjoining municipality may, within fourteen days of the publishing of this notice on the HRM website, appeal to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (902.424.4448), in accordance with the provisions of the Halifax Regional Municipality Charter.
This notice was posted to this site on May 28, 2024 in accordance with the requirements of the Halifax Regional Municipality Charter.
