In accordance with the Nova Scotia Release of High-Risk Offender Information Protocol, Halifax Regional Police is advising all citizens, particularly those in the Halifax region, that a high-risk offender is residing in our community.

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that due to the presence of a possible blue-green algae bloom, a risk advisory is in effect for Penhorn Beach in Dartmouth. Residents are encouraged to avoid swimming in the lake until further notice.
