Curbside collection will continue as scheduled for Friday, September 23. Residents are asked to place materials curbside prior to 7 a.m. on collection day in order to ensure pickup, ensuring they are contained and secured from wildlife until pickup.
Due to the forecasted weather event, the Mobile Household Special Waste event planned for Saturday, September 24 at Horizon Community School in Eastern Passage is cancelled. This event is tentatively rescheduled for October 29.
The Otter Lake Waste Management Facility and the Household Special Waste Depot located at 20 Horseshoe Lake Drive, as well as the Musquodoboit and Sheet Harbour refuse depots, will be closed on Saturday, September 24.

Starting July 2, 2022, green cart collection will occur every week during the months of July, August, and September.
Residents are encouraged to place materials curbside the evening before collection. Materials must be placed curbside no later than 7 a.m. to ensure collection.
