How much does it cost?
Due to the financial impact on organizations as a result of the proposed youth fees communicated last week, HRCE has decided to revert back to providing youth with free weekday access. Please find below an updated fee table with adjusted rental rates for the 2024/25 season:

Weekend Rentals:
- Open/Close Fee of $95+HST will be charged to every booking for the weekends to cover the operational costs, such as 1.5hrs of additional custodial hours.
- Hourly operational fee of $80+HST has been included in the fees listed above. When renting multiple rooms, the operational fee will only be applied to one space.
- Weekend rentals are subject to a minimum of a four hours.
- Tournaments and special events are required to book both gymnasium and cafeteria.
- Additional operational fees will be billed to groups when bookings run beyond scheduled times, or where excessive cleaning is required.
User Group Definitions:
- Youth: Individuals up to and including 18 years of age. An affiliated youth sports team A sports team, 90% of whose players are 18 years of age or younger.
- Adult: Individuals who are 19 years of age or older University, college, or post-secondary educational institution teams/groups.
- Corporate/Private: Users who are renting on behalf of a for-profit organization, business or entity.

Open/close rate:
The stated flat fee includes half an hour for opening the facility and one hour for closing it. This fee applies to all weekend rentals at HRCE facilities. This fee may apply to weekday rentals when requesting after hours usage.
