At approximately 10:00 a.m., officers responded to a weapons complaint in the 160 block of Thomas Raddall Drive in Halifax. Police received a report that a man had threatened another individual with a firearm last evening.

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that registration has opened for the municipality’s 2025 Volunteer Conference. This year’s conference will take place on Friday, Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Dartmouth (240 Brownlow Avenue, Dartmouth).

Police are on the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Waverley Road, in Dartmouth.

Waverley Road, from Montebello Drive to Crest Drive, is closed in both directions.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area and take alternate routes to avoid delays.
