EN FRIn celebration of Waste Reduction Week, the Halifax Regional Municipality is lighting up City Hall in green and blue on October 16 and 17. The municipality is also hosting several events to help residents reduce their waste and learn more about waste management through the following events.

ENThe Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that the speed limit will be reduced on Mineville Road. The existing 70 km/h zone from Highway 7 in East Preston/Lake Echo to Civic 823 in Mineville will be reduced to 50 km/h. The existing 80 km/h zone from Civic 1081 to Lawrencetown Road in Lawrencetown will be reduced to 70 km/h.
