Motion: 
That the Community Planning and Economic Development Standing Committee:

1. Receive the staff report dated May 27, 2025 for information and receive a presentation from the Halifax Partnership regarding People. Planet, Prosperity: Halifax’s Inclusive Economic Strategy; and,

2. Forward the staff report dated May 27, 2025 to Halifax Regional Council for information.

13.1.2 Integrated Tourism Master Plan 2030 Update [PDF]

Motion: 
That the Community Planning and Economic Development Standing Committee recommend that Regional Council:

1. Endorse the Halifax Regional Integrated Tourism Master Plan 2030 (ITMP 2030) (Attachment 1 of the staff report dated June 5, 2025) including consideration for the Municipality’s related initiatives as set forth in the ITMP 2030 and as also detailed in the Discussion section of the staff report dated June 5, 2025; and

2. Direct the CAO to work with Discover Halifax to provide annual updates to Regional Council regarding the ITMP 2030. 

13.1.3 Park Steward Program [PDF]

Motion: 
That the Community Planning and Economic Development Standing Committee recommend that Halifax Regional Council direct the Chief Administrative Officer to develop the Park Stewardship Program as outlined in the discussion section of the staff report dated June 10, 2025.
