Councillor Virgina Hinch is a lifelong resident of North End Halifax, born and raised. She is passionate about volunteering and giving back to her community. Councillor Hinch has volunteered with a variety of different community groups to help ensure an economically and socially vibrant North End Halifax.
Prior to being elected in the 2024 Election, Councillor Hinch was the owner and operator of a small local business Mama D’s Cheesecakes and worked for the Metropolitan Regional Housing Authority/ Nova Scotia Provincial Housing Agency for the past 15 years. Councillor Hinch currently resides in the North End of Halifax and sits on a number of community boards that help serve the North end community at large.
