For the second time today, Halifax Regional Police have charged a man for leaving a dog in a hot car in Halifax.

On August 13 shortly before midnight, Halifax Regional Police responded to the Dartmouth General Hospital as a man had arrived there with a gun shot wound.

The Halifax Regional Municipality, in partnership with the Conseil communautaire du Grand-Havre (CCGH), will host an official Acadian flag raising ceremony and musical concert at Grand Parade on Friday, Aug. 13 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The concert will acknowledge both National Acadian Day and Halifax Pride.
