Motion:
That the Transportation Standing Committee accept the staff report dated June 12, 2024 and receive a presentation.

14. MOTIONS
14.1 Councillor Cleary
Motion: 
That the Transportation Standing Committee direct the Chief Administrative Officer to prepare a staff report that examines revisions to residential parking permits that would charge differential fees based on length or weight of the vehicle, with higher fees for longer vehicles.

14.2 Councillor Cleary
Motion: 
That the Transportation Standing Committee direct the Chief Administrative Officer to prepare a staff report looking at adjustments to signs and signals that would truly prioritize pedestrians on street that are designated as pedestrian-oriented mainstreets in our land use planning documents.

14.3 Councillor Purdy
Motion: 
That the Transportation Standing Committee request the Chief Administrative Officer to provide a staff report to consider amendments to Administrative Order 2021-005-OP, Respecting Traffic Calming to remove Clause 28-B, to enable the removal of existing traffic calming islands on Colby Drive, to be replaced with speed tables, as described in Option B of the staff report dated March 12, 2024, in the 2025/2026 capital budget.

Motion: 
That the Transportation Standing Committee direct the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to provide a staff report regarding potential re-routing of the 320 to stop in the core of Fall River on Highway 2 near the Fall River Road in intersection using a new route via the soon to open Aerotech connector and Highway 112 Exit 14.
