Update: This work will continue Tuesday (Sept. 4) and Wednesday (Sept. 5) from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists road construction will begin Monday and last until Friday on Mumford Road between Leppert Street and Joseph Howe Drive.
Crews will be on site each day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. There will be lane drops and stop-and-go traffic while work is underway. Motorists are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is completed.
