The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will take place over the next week on Gottingen Street.
Work will begin tomorrow and will continue until next Thursday at the following times and locations along Gottingen Street:
- Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. between Falkland and Cornwallis streets
- Monday (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Tuesday (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.), Wednesday (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.), and Thursday (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) between Cogswell and Cornwallis streets
Motorists can expect stop-and-go traffic and lane drops along Gottingen Street while work is underway. Drivers are asked to take an alternative route whenever possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is completed.

Rue Gottingen – Construction routière
La Municipalité régionale d’Halifax informe les résidents et les automobilistes que des travaux routiers auront lieu au cours de la semaine prochaine sur la rue Gottingen.
Les travaux commenceront demain et continueront jusqu’à jeudi prochain aux heures et emplacements suivants sur la rue Gottingen :
• Le jeudi 17 mai et vendredi 18 mai de 18 h à 21 h 30 entre les rues Falkland et Cornwallis
• Le lundi (de 7 h à 19 h), mardi (de 9 h à 14 h), mercredi (de 9 h à 14 h) et jeudi (9 h à 14 h) entre les rues Cogswell et Cornwallis
Les automobilistes peuvent s’attendre à une circulation intermittente et à des voies fermées sur la rue Gottingen alors que ces travaux sont en cours.
On demande aux automobilistes d’emprunter une voie de rechange dans la mesure du possible.
