At approximately 10 p.m. on November 28, officers responded to a report of an injured male near 2200 block of Maitland Street in Halifax. The 40-year-old man was found laying on the ground unconscious with injuries sustained to his head and face. EHS attended and transported the man to hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. A witness observed a male walking away from the injured man toward Gottingen Street on Cornwallis. This person is described as a white male, 5’10” tall wearing a grey hoodie. Police would like to identify and speak with this individual.
