The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists there will be periodic delays on Barrington Street in the vicinity of Young Street over the next month due to blasting operations.
Each delay will be approximately five minutes and will occur several times during the day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. These disruptions will be ongoing for the month of September.
Emergency vehicles will have access at all times. Traffic safety personnel will be present to assist motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the work site.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to take alternative routes whenever possible.
