Police investigate stabbing

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a stabbing that occurred last night in Dartmouth. 
 
At approximately 8 p.m. police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 0-100 block of Alderney Drive. Police located a man who had been stabbed. A group of youths approached two men who were walking in the area. One of the youths cut one of the men with a knife and then the group fled on foot. 

The victim was transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. 

The suspect with the knife is described as a white female, 15 to 17 years-old with blonde hair, wearing black tights and a black shirt. 

The investigation is in the early stages and anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020.
