Halifax Regional Police has charged multiple drivers with speeding throughout the region this week.
The HRP Traffic Unit is continuing to monitor traffic throughout the region for speeding violations. In the first part of this week (Monday to Wednesday) officers issued 26 summary offence tickets for speeding and 47 additional tickets for other offences such as failing to obey traffic sign/signals, no insurance, operating unregistered vehicles and cell phones.
In a continued effort to address traffic safety issues and educate citizens on the rules of the road, our Traffic Section focus on speed enforcement. We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe.
