The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Penhorn Lake Beach in Penhorn Lake, Dartmouth has reopened to swimming.

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that due to the presence of a blue-green algae bloom, a risk advisory is in effect for Cunard Lake Beach, on Williams Lake. Residents are encouraged to avoid swimming in the lake until further notice.
