At 12:23 a.m. on August 2, Halifax Regional Police received reports of a fire at Chronic Relief, 3700 Joseph Howe Drive Halifax. Caller reported seeing an unknown person set the business on fire. The fire was extinguished and deemed suspicious. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot.

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing man.  Thirty-two-year-old Deo Butoyi was last seen July 26 in Halifax.

At 7:06 p.m. on August 1, Halifax Regional Police received multiple driving complaints of an orange Mitsubishi Lancer traveling inbound to Halifax on Barrington Street at a high rate of speed, passing vehicles by driving into oncoming traffic.
