The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will take place this evening in the Portland Street/Pleasant Street intersection.
Crews will be on site from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The traffic signals will be shut down during this work and traffic control personnel will be in place. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
