Police respond to robbery involving weapons

At 11:53 p.m. on September 28, East Division patrol members responded to an apartment building in the 0-100 block of Pinecrest Drive in Dartmouth to a report of a male being assaulted. Members located a 38-year-old male victim who sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident. The victim had been assaulted with a imitation firearm and stun gun which were later recovered, and his wallet and jewelry were stolen. The victim was treated at the scene by EHS and released.

Officers immediately arrested five suspects, two men and three women,  who face robbery and numerous weapons-related charges. The accused are being held and will have bail hearings later today.

Officer executed a search warrant  at a residence associated to the accused and seized additional evidence.
