Police Release Pictures of Robbery

Investigators assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the suspects responsible for a robbery that occurred on July 30, 2013 in Halifax.

At 1:48 p.m., police responded to Halifax Gold located at 1461 Brenton Street after two men entered the business, threatened staff with a handgun and demanded money. No one was hurt and the suspects fled on foot southbound on Brenton Street with an undisclosed amount of money.

The first suspect is described as a white man, 6’2”, heavy set with a dark complexion, wearing a black baseball cap. The second suspect is believed to be a white man with his face covered with black fabric, wearing a black hoodie and black pants. They are believed to have left in a silver Honda civic that was parked off Brenton Place.

Officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are asking anyone with information about this robbery to contact police at 490-5016.
