Police Investigate Stabbing - Dartmouth

At 8:43 p.m., on November 3, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of an injured man with stab wounds in the 600 block of Portland Street, Dartmouth. Patrol officers located a man with non-life threatening injuries consistent with a stabbing. Officers confirmed an unknown person injured the man during an altercation in near Alderney Drive / Ochterloney Street, Dartmouth. 

The suspect is described as a black man, 20-30 years, wearing a black jacket, hooded shirt and blue jeans.  

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.
