Police Investigate Graffiti on Churches – Halifax

At approximately 10 a.m. on April 1, Halifax Regional Police received a report of property damage (graffiti) at Saint Anges Church, 6903 Mumford Road Halifax.  At 11 a.m. that same day, police received a second report of property damage (graffiti) at Saint Benedict Church, 45 Radcliffe Drive Halifax. The two incidents are similar with offensive graffiti in red paint and both occurred overnight. Both investigations are ongoing and at this time appear to be related.

Police are asking anyone with information about these incidents to call police at 902-490-5020.  Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
