Update: The protest on the MacDonald Bridge has concluded without incident.
We thank the public for their patience and the MacDonald Bridge is now open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

Halifax Regional Police is on scene at the MacDonald Bridge in Dartmouth assisting Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission with a protest that is occurring on the Bridge.
Vehicular traffic in both directions has been stopped until the protest has concluded. We ask that motorists and pedestrians in the area use caution and try to avoid the area. Traffic disruption should be expected.
