The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that all municipal offices, including in-person Customer Service Centres and the Planning & Development permit office, will be opening at 10 a.m. today.
Employees who can work from home are being asked to do so.
All essential services, as well as 311, winter operations and Halifax Transit will maintain operations.
Safety is the municipality’s top priority. Delaying opening will facilitate clearing efforts by crews and ensure a safer commute for our employees and residents.
