A man whom police requested assistance in locating has been found safe and sound.
Forty-three-year-old Kevin Donald MacKinnon was reported missing on July 12. He was located unharmed yesterday in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
Halifax Regional Police would like to thank the media and the public for their concern and assistance in this matter.

Missing Man - Police Seek Public’s Help
Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Halifax man.
Forty-three-year-old Kevin Donald MacKinnon was last seen at the Maritime Bus station on Hollis Street on July 5 at approximately 10:30 a.m. Officers haven’t been able to locate him, however there is information to suggest that he may be on Prince Edward Island.
Kevin is described as a white man, 5’3”, 150 lbs., with hazel eyes and black hair and was last seen wearing a muscle shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
There is no information to suggest that Kevin has met with foul play, however police are concerned for his well-being. Officers request that Kevin or anyone with information on his whereabouts calls Halifax Regional Police at (902) 490-5020.
