Three people face charges after a drug search Thursday morning in Halifax.
On October 25, officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit conducted a search of an apartment on Autumn Drive in Halifax. Officers seized a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Two women and one man face charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on December 11.
Drug activity often involves violence that puts innocent citizens at risk and is detrimental to the overall safety of our communities. The HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit investigates complaints and targets people involved in the purchase and sale of drugs. Citizens are encouraged to report drug activity to police at 490-5130.
