The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising motorists and pedestrians there will be intermittent traffic signal disruptions beginning Monday at various intersections in Bedford.
Crews will be installing LED lamps in the traffic signals at intersections from Monday through Wednesday, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.
Drivers should be aware there will be some lane drops and interruptions to traffic flow as this work is completed. There will be at least one working traffic light in each direction at every intersection while these installations are underway.
Work will take place at the following intersections at various times throughout the week:
- Bedford Highway at Bedford Place Mall north entrance (River Lane)
- Bedford Highway at Bedford Place Mall south entrance
- Bedford Highway at Convoy Run/Holland Avenue
- Bedford Highway at Dartmouth Road
- Bedford Highway at Hammonds Plains Road
- Bedford Highway at Hatchery Lane

La Municipalité régionale d’Halifax informe les automobilistes et les piétons qu’il y aura des interruptions intermittentes aux feux de circulation à partir de lundi à diverses intersections dans Bedford.
Des équipes installeront des lumières DEL aux feux de circulation de certaines intersections de lundi à mercredi entre 9 h et 16 h chaque jour.
Les automobilistes doivent savoir qu’il y aura des fermetures de voies et des interruptions à la circulation alors que ces travaux sont terminés. Il y aura au moins un feu de circulation qui fonctionne dans chaque direction à toutes les intersections alors que ces installations sont en cours.
Les travaux auront lieu aux intersections suivantes à différent moment pendant la semaine:
- L’intersection de l’autoroute Bedford et de l’entrée nord du centre commercial Bedford Place (allée River)
- L’intersection de l’autoroute Bedford et de l’entrée sud du centre commercial Bedford Place
- L’intersection de l’autoroute Bedford et Convoy Run/avenue Holland
- L’intersection de l’autoroute Bedford et du chemin Dartmouth
- L’intersection de l’autoroute Bedford et du chemin Hammonds Plains
- L’intersection de l’autoroute Bedford et de l’allée Hatchery
