The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will take place from Tuesday, September 5 to Tuesday, December 19, on Barrington Street between North Street and Niobe Gate Bridge.
The outbound, curbside traffic lane will remain closed day and night, for the duration of the project. Crews will be stabilizing the retaining wall adjacent to CFB Halifax Dockyard and installing a new concrete sidewalk along the outbound lane of Barrington Street.
Motorists are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
