Refunds will be issued either by cheque or electronic payment to customers if an overpayment is made to an assessment account number, and there is a request for a refund. If an overpayment is made to an assessment account number, the amount may be left on the assessment account number and applied to future property taxes owing. Refund requests can be submitted online, and the cost is $15 per assessment account number, per refund.
