14. IN CAMERA (IN PRIVATE)
Executive Standing Committee may rise and go into a private In Camera session, in accordance with Section 19 of the Halifax Regional Municipality Charter, for the purpose of dealing with the following:

14.1 In Camera (In Private) Minutes – February 4, 2019
Motion:
That the In Camera (In Private) minutes of February 4, 2019 be approved as circulated.

14.2 PERSONNEL MATTER
Citizen and Councillor appointments to boards and committees in keeping with the Public Appointment Policy adopted by Regional Council in August 2011, to be found at https://www.halifax.ca/city-hall/boards-committees-commissions/volunteer-boards-committees/public-appointment-policy

14.2.1 Public Nominations to the Design Review Committee
Motion:
That the Executive Standing Committee recommend that Halifax Regional Council:
1. Proceed to nominate one (1) structural engineer for a term to November 30, 2020 to the Design Review Committee as outlined in Attachment # 1 of the private and confidential staff report dated March 15, 2019.
2. Proceed to nominate one (1) landscape architect for a term to November 30, 2020 to the Design Review Committee as outlined in Attachment # 1 of the private and confidential staff report dated March 15, 2019.
3. Proceed to nominate two (2) architects for a term to November 30, 2020 to the Design Review Committee as outlined in Attachment # 1 of the private and confidential staff report dated March 15, 2019.
4. Proceed to nominate an alternative for first consideration when/if a vacancy occurs during the term for the positions of architect and structural engineer.
5. That the names of the successful appointees be released to the public following ratification and notification of applicants; and
6. That the March 15, 2019 private and confidential staff report not be released to the public.

14.2.2 Councillor Nomination (Table Officer) to Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM)
Motion:
That the Executive Standing Committee recommend that Halifax Regional Council:
1. Endorse the candidate for Table Officer for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) as outlined in the private and confidential staff report dated March 12, 2019;
2. Adopt the resolution required by FCM, in regard to the appointment as provided in Attachment 1; and
3. That the private and confidential staff report dated March 12, 2019 not be released to the public.
