Motion:
That the Transportation Standing Committee recommend that Regional Council:
1. Adopt the Road Safety Strategy 2024, included in Attachment 1 of the staff report dated March 14, 2024, and endorse the vision and goal identified.
2. Direct staff to provide annual reports to the Transportation Standing Committee regarding the actions of the Road Safety Program and the Road Safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) identified in the attached Road Safety Strategy in the staff report dated March 14, 2024.

That the Transportation Standing Committee recommend that Halifax Regional Council approve the proposed action plans, in principle, to address the ten intersections with the highest number of fatal and injury collisions as outlined in the staff report dated June 14, 2024.
