Motion:
That Halifax Regional Council authorize the Chief Administrative Officer to:
1. Negotiate and enter into an Encroachment Agreement for an elevated pedway across Summer Street, based on the key terms and conditions set out in Table 1 of the staff report dated April 3, 2020; and
2. Grant an easement upon municipal parkland between the lands of the provincial Nova Scotia Museum and Bell Road, as outlined and identified in Attachment 1 of the staff report dated April 3, 2020, subject to the acceptance of a traffic assessment, and other studies as may be required, by the Municipal Engineer, and the retention of the functionality of municipal parkland as outlined in the staff report dated April 3, 2020.
