Application from Zzap Consulting Inc., on behalf of the property owner, requesting to enter into a Development Agreement for a 100-unit townhouse development on a 44 acre parcel off West Petpeswick Road, West Petpeswick (PID 00334953).
Proposal
The applicant is requesting to enter into a Development Agreement off West Petpeswick Road, West Petpeswick (PID 00334953) to construct a 100-unit townhouse development on a 44 acre parcel. Policy MU-3 in the Easter Shore (West) Municipal Planning Strategy allows Council to consider permitting multiple unit dwellings through the provisions of a development agreement, which this application is being considered under. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
- 100 townhouse units within 21 separate buildings (Thirteen 4-unit buildings and Eight 6-unit buildings;
- Main acccess from West Petpeswick Road with internal access via private driveways;
- Centrally located community building for residents use and storage space; and
- Proposed to be developed through 5 phases
The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to the project rationale, traffic impact, servicing, stormwater and groundwater.
Process
The application will be considered under the Development Agreement process.
Status
Currently this application is at the team review stage of the process where the request is reviewed by internal municipal staff as well as external agencies.
