An application by Paul Skerry Architects Limited to enter into a Development Agreement to allow for a 7 to 8-storey mixed use building containing 70 residential units and main-level commercial facing Sackville Drive at 498 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville.
Proposal
The applicant wishes to build a mixed-use building. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
- Proposing 70 residential units, as well as a 3065 square feet of commercial space;
- As this is a sloped sight, the building appears as 7-stories facing Sackville Drive and 8-stories facing Seawood Avenue.;
- Driveway access on Seawood Avenue accessing 2 levels of underground parking; there is no vehicle access from Sackville Drive; and,
- Indoor and outdoor amenity space for use by building residents.
The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to the proposed building, amenity spaces, parking locations, driveway access, and landscaping.
Process
The application will be considered under the Development Agreement Process.
Status
This application is now at the management review stage following preparation of staff recommendation report, proposed development agreement, policy matrix and mapping. Following this review tentative Community Council dates for notice of motion and a public hearing will be set. A public hearing fact sheet will be mailed to all persons who were contacted for the public meeting and those added.
