The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Nova Scotia Power will be replacing a pole and overhead lines on Barrington Street near Hanover Street on Sunday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Motorists and cyclists can expect stop-and-go traffic while work is underway. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. One transit stop will be temporarily relocated during the work. There will be delays in the area and drivers are encouraged to take alternative routes whenever possible.
The municipality and Nova Scotia Power appreciate your patience while this work is completed.

Rue Barrington – Installation d’un poteau électrique
La municipalité régionale d’Halifax informe les résidents et les automobilistes que Nova Scotia Power remplacera un poteau électrique et des lignes aériennes sur la rue Barrington près de la rue Hanover ce dimanche entre 7 h et 18 h.
Les automobilistes et les cyclistes doivent s’attendre à une circulation intermittente alors que ces travaux sont en cours. L’accès aux piétons sera maintenu en tout temps. Un arrêt du transport en commun sera relocalisé temporairement pendant ces travaux.
Il y aura des retards dans le secteur et nous encourageons les automobilistes à emprunter des voies de rechange dans la mesure du possible.
