Police Investigate Break & Enters into Laundry Rooms – Arrest Suspect

At approximately 10:55 p.m. on April 11, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a break and enter into a laundry room in the 100 block of Evans Avenue in Halifax. Plain clothes officers from the Quick Response Unit set up surveillance and located the suspect on foot. Officers arrested a 34-year-old man from Halifax, without incident, and located break tools in the suspect’s possession.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently investigating and believe the suspect is responsible for similar recent break and enters. The 34-year-old man is held for Halifax court and will be charged with break and enter, possession of break tools and breach of probation.
