Update: Work will continue until 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15.
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Sackville Street will be closed beginning Monday and lasting until Wednesday between South Park Street and Dresden Row.
Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. Monday to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Pedestrian access will be maintained on the north side of Sackville Street.
Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite, as needed.
Motorists are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
