Police have charged a man with attempted murder following an incident in Halifax last night.
Cory Nicholas Baker, 32, was arrested after driving a vehicle towards an officer during a traffic stop on Main Avenue in Halifax on Wednesday evening.
Baker is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face charges of attempted murder, operation of conveyance while prohibited and dangerous operation of conveyance.
A woman was also taken into custody but has been released without charges.
