Police have a charged a man in relation to an incident in Halifax yesterday.
Yesterday, at approximately 3:30 a.m. officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Sylvia Avenue. Two men who are known to one another were involved in a physical altercation. A 41-year-old man was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Officers arrested a 43-year-old man at the scene.
Lucian Swinamer, 43, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault.
