Police are conducting searches in the Gottingen Street area of Halifax in relation to an ongoing investigation and the following streets are closed to traffic:
- Gottingen Street between North Street and Cunard Street
- Brunswick Street between Artz Street and Gerrish Street
- Maitland Street at Prince William Street
A number of members are on scene completing the searches. There is no threat to public safety. We ask members of the public to use alternate routes and avoid the area to allow officers to conduct the search and investigation.
