The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Doyle Street will be closed to vehicular traffic for one week (beginning on Tuesday) so crews can facilitate the connection of communication equipment to the Doyle block development.
Crews will be on site each day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The street will re-open to traffic outside those hours.
There will be a full street closure in effect while work is underway. Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite, as needed.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes, if possible.
Access to local businesses will be maintained at all times. Sidewalks will remain open during the closure.
