Police, along with the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team, are continuing to search for the man who went missing at King’s Wharf in Dartmouth yesterday evening.
Police are asking boaters to avoid the area of King’s Wharf and Dominion Diving jetty and obey the ‘Dive in Progress’ signs to allow officers to conduct their search.

On July 6, at approximately 8 p.m., Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency responded to a report of a missing swimmer at King’s Wharf in Dartmouth.
Witnesses reported an adult man had gone underwater and could not be located. A joint response was quickly conducted by officers and firefighters; however, they were unable to locate the man.
Halifax Regional Police, with the assistance of the RCMP dive team, will be in the area in an attempt to locate the man. More information will be provided when available.
