Residents interested in running in the 2024 Municipal and Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP) Election are invited to attend upcoming candidate information sessions.
These sessions are designed to help equip potential candidates with important information and resources about running in the 2024 Municipal and CSAP Election.
The municipality has been hosting sessions throughout the spring and summer – and there are two remaining sessions:

Registration is not required to attend the information sessions. Attendees are encouraged to contact the Election Office in advance to inquire about specific accommodation requests. A closed-captioned recording of a session is also available here.
Candidates are also reminded that nomination appointments are available starting Thursday, August 29. All prospective candidates must book an in-person nomination appointment with the Returning Officer to become an official candidate. This appointment must take place prior to Nomination Day on Tuesday, September 10.

Rappel aux résidents des séances d’information à l’intention des candidats en vue des prochaines élections
Les résidents intéressés à se présenter à l’élection municipale et au Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP) de 2024 sont invités à assister à une prochaine séance d’information à l’intention des candidats.
Ces séances visent à fournir aux candidats potentiels des informations et des ressources importantes sur la façon de se présenter à l’élection municipale et au CSAP de 2024.
La municipalité a organisé des séances tout au long du printemps et de l’été – et il reste deux séances :

Aucune inscription n’est nécessaire pour assister aux séances d’information. Les participants sont invités à communiquer à l’avance avec le bureau électoral pour s’informer au sujet de demandes précises de mesures d’adaptation. Un enregistrement sous-titré d’une séance est également disponible ici.
Il est également rappelé aux candidats que les rendez-vous de nomination sont disponibles à partir du jeudi 29 août. Tous les candidats potentiels doivent prendre rendez-vous en personne avec le directeur du scrutin pour devenir un candidat officiel. Ce rendez-vous doit avoir lieu avant le Jour de la nomination, le mardi 10 septembre.
