The Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting residents to attend the annual TD Dartmouth Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Sullivan’s Pond.
The event will include the following programming:
5 to 6:15 p.m. | Sullivan’s Pond
- Listen to the African Nova Scotian Music Association presents "A Celebration of Christmas" featuring talented artists from the community on the Dartmouth Kiwanis Club Stage.
- Visit with Santa at A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections tent and receive a free candy cane (while quantities last).
- Enjoy a free hot chocolate and treats at the TD festive service tent (while quantities last).
5 to 6:15 p.m. | Findlay Community Centre
- Receive a free 'Holiday Treat' (while quantities last).
- Take part in a holiday activity with the municipality’s Parks & Recreation staff.
6:15 – 6:30 p.m. | Sullivan’s Pond
- Enjoy holiday greetings from the main stage.
6:30 p.m. | Sullivan’s Pond
- Take part in the TD Dartmouth Christmas Tree Lighting and the Sullivan’s Pond Holiday Fireworks presented by BOYNECLARKE LLP.
After the fireworks, residents are invited to join a carolling walk to Alderney Landing to visit the Christkindlmarket.

Les résidents sont invités à l’illumination de l’arbre de Noël de la Banque TD à Dartmouth
La Municipalité régionale d’Halifax invite les résidents à assister à l’illumination annuelle de l’arbre de Noël de la Banque TD à Dartmouth le samedi 2 décembre de 17 h à 18 h 30 à Sullivan’s Pond.
L’événement comprendra la programmation suivante :
17 h à 18 h 15 | Sullivan’s Pond
- Écoutez l’African Nova Scotian Music Association qui présente « A Celebration of Christmas » (Une célébration de Noël) avec des artistes talentueux de la communauté sur la scène du Kiwanis Club de Dartmouth.
- Visite avec le père Noël à la tente Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections et recevez une canne à bonbons gratuite (jusqu’à épuisement des stocks).
- Profitez d’un chocolat chaud gratuit et de gâteries à la tente de service festif de la Banque TD (jusqu’à épuisement des stocks).
17 h à 18 h 15 | Centre communautaire Findlay
- Recevez gratuitement une « friandise des Fêtes » (jusqu’à épuisement des stocks).
- Participez à une activité des Fêtes avec le personnel des parcs et loisirs de la municipalité.
18 h 15 à 18 h 30 | Sullivan’s Pond
- Profitez des vœux du temps des Fêtes de la scène principale.
18 h 30 | Sullivan’s Pond
- Participez à l’illumination de l’arbre de Noël de la Banque TD à Dartmouth et aux feux d’artifice de Noël de Sullivan’s Pond présentés par BOYNECLARKE LLP.
Après les feux d’artifice, les résidents sont invités à se joindre à une promenade avec chorales à Alderney Landing pour visiter le marché de Noël.
