Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that on Saturday, Jan. 7, there will be traffic disruptions on Quinpool Road near the intersection of Vernon Street, to facilitate work on overhead utilities.
Crews will be on-site beginning at 7:30 a.m., with brief interruptions to traffic flow in both directions expected to take place intermittently until 9 a.m. An inbound lane drop will also be required in this area to facilitate the work, which is expected to wrap up by 6 p.m.
Motorists are advised to expect long delays in the area, particularly prior to 9 a.m., and should find alternative routes where possible.
The municipality and Nova Scotia Power Inc. regret any inconvenience this work may cause.
