Police are seeking the public’s assistance in returning found money to its rightful owner.
On October 28, 2022 a citizen contacted police to turn in a quantity of cash that her son and friends had found in the area of the trails and the sports fields in the 1800 block of the Bedford Highway.
Police are asking the owner, or anyone who may have information about the money, to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or using the P3 Tips App.
To claim the money, you must be able to specify the denomination of the bills and the total amount of cash.
We commend the youths for doing the right thing and turning the money in to police.
