This week the Halifax Regional Police Traffic Unit issued 90 tickets in relation to speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences.
Monday to Thursday, members of the HRP Traffic Unit issued 90 summary offence tickets: 40 for speeding, 13 for no insurance and 37 for other offences including operating an unregistered vehicle, failing to obey traffic signs, faulty equipment, invalid inspections and driving with a revoked license.
We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. If you see someone driving dangerously, report it to police by calling 911.
