Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in Halifax early Sunday morning.
On December 7 at approximately 3:55 a.m., police responded to the intersection of Barrington and Richmond Streets in Halifax where a 27-year-old man was suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police believe the incident began as a verbal dispute among a group of people before escalating into a physical altercation. No other injuries have been reported.
Investigators are also looking to speak to anyone who may have captured dashcam footage on Barrington Street, between Richmond and Duffus Streets between 3:15 a.m. and 4 a.m..
