Police Investigate Stolen Vehicle Collision - Halifax
At 9 p.m., on August 16, 2022, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a SUV striking a barrier and the driver running from the vehicle in the Walmart parking lot, 220 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax.
Police located the abandoned SUV with significant damage and confirmed the vehicle was stolen. Officers quickly located the driver nearby inside another business in the 200 block of Chain Lake Drive and arrested the driver without incident. A 21-year-old man from Halifax is held for court and is facing Theft and Possession of a Motor Vehicle and Breaching Probation.
